The Bryt Software Asset and Insurance Tracking Module stores all collateral value information for asset-defined lending programs. The Asset and Insurance Tracking system enables you to manage collateral and reduce credit risk by ensuring that loans are adequately secured and properly documented.
The Asset and Insurance Tracking system provides the following benefits for lenders:
- Delivers a cost-effective, time-saving method for tracking any kind of loan documentation or collateral.
- Helps lenders determine which loans are under-collateralized.
- Helps lenders comply with regulatory requirements.
It helps you better manage collateral, and in turn, helps you save time and money.
To Access the Asset and Insurance Tracking Module, click on the Assets tab on the left side of a given loan's page:
From this page, you can:
- View your asset list
- add additional assets
- edit an existing asset.
Assets can be classified in the following categories:
- Property
- Vehicle
- Generic Asset
To add an Asset, click the 'Add Asset' button. You will be prompted with the 'Which type of asset do you want to create?' option. For our example, we're going with a Property.
Once the information is entered and saved, you'll be back at the Assets tab Summary. From here you'll be able to edit the existing Asset or add an insurance policy by clicking on the 'Add Policy' button.
After entering details for your property insurance policy, you can add a contact to the policy. Whether that's an agent for the policy or a policy member.
From here you can add another contact from your contact's list if you'd like, or edit/delete the policy contact. If it all looks good, you can now click the Save button to finalize the creation of the insurance policy and its details.
This concludes the Assets and Insurance Tracking explanation and walkthrough.
