Welcome to the Borrower Portal Registration Borrower's Perspective guide.
Note: For Bryt Servicers testing this process, do not use the same 'From' email listed under your 'Admin - Email Settings'.
To start, you'll need the link to your lender's borrower portal landing page. (URL Ex: companyname.brytsoftware.com)
This link may be sent to you via a payment request notice. However, your servicer can manually send you an email invitation link - provided that you have an email address associated with your contact record.
This is how you'll receive the borrower portal registration email if it's sent to your email by your lender.
Note: Portal registration invitations will expire after 48 hours, you will need to ask your servicer for a new link if the link is no longer active.
From there you'll want to click on the first link to Register your Borrower Portal account.
This is the page you'll land on and you'll want to enter your Email Address and Loan Number (aka Loan Name) associated with the loan you've established with your lender.
Then go through the reCAPTCHA to verify you're a legitimate user and finish by clicking the 'Register' button.
If successful, you'll see the following message.
If unsuccessful you'll see the following message prompted.
Note: If this happens it's usually due to a typo (user entry error), the lender has changed the email/loan name, or all of the lender's loan names are identical and require unique loan names. Confer with your lender.
Continuing on the successful message, you'll receive the following email where you'll need to click on the link to finish setting up a password.
You'll be taken to this page:
Enter a password and then finish by clicking on the 'Create Account' button.
If successful you'll see the following message:
Click the link to be taken to the login page.
From there you can click on the 'Log in' button to log in. You can also use the 'Forgot Password?' link if you've forgotten your password.
You've now successfully created your Borrower Portal account.
