Delete a Record allows the user to delete the current record that they are viewing. There are some instances where Bryt will not allow a user to delete a record. For example, if a contact is associated with a loan, the contact cannot be deleted unless the association to the loan is removed. This is done to prevent relevant records from being "lost" by deletion. Bryt will display a message when a record cannot be deleted.
The Delete a Record function is found in the Quick Tools menu:
Example:
Upon typing 'DELETE' and clicking 'Confirm', the Loan/Contact will be deleted as long as they are not actively associated with any loans. If a contact is associated as a borrower or investor/lender, then they cannot be deleted until they are removed from the loan or the loan itself is deleted.
