Admin - Email Settings

Article summary

Email Settings is where Bryt stores information about the emails you send from Bryt on behalf of your company. These emails are system-generated emails such as payment notices, late notices, etc.  These emails are generally sent on behalf of your "Company", as opposed to being sent by you as an individual.  You can also send emails using the "Send an Email" Quick Tool.  The "Send an Email" Quick Tool emails are sent by you individually (not on behalf of your company), and may have different settings than your company email settings.  You can configure your personal email settings in the User Settings - Details.  If you are using Bryt as an individual (not a company), then the settings for both of these email types would probably be the same. 

Email Settings can be accessed by clicking on the "Admin" link in the navy strip and then clicking on the "Email Settings" link on the left-hand side:


You can also access the GUIDE ME Tour for Admin by clicking on the "Need Help?" button in the lower right corner and then selecting "GUIDE ME - Admin" from the "GUIDE ME Tours" section: 


Additionally, you can also access the GUIDE ME Tour for Admin by clicking on the "Checklist" in the lower left corner and then selecting "GUIDE ME - Admin":

To edit the Email Settings, click on the Edit button.


Edit your EMAIL SETTINGS: 


  • Email "from" Address would usually contain the email address you are sending the email from (Ex: accounts@ABCLoans.com)
    Note: DO NOT make the BCC or test contact email the same as the 'From' email address you'll use here. 
  • Email "from" Company Name would usually contain the Company Name you are sending the email from (Ex: ABC Loans)
  • BCC Address is used if you want a copy of all emails sent to be copied to a specific address.  You may want to do this for compliance purposes or to ensure that the email was sent from the system.

To save your changes, click on "Save Changes".  To revert to the original data, click "Cancel".
