Article summary

Client notices are automated emails that inform the borrower of the condition of their loan. These automated emails streamline the communication to your borrowers.  This automated communication saves you time and, in many cases, helps keep your borrowers on track with their payments to you. To access the Template or Configuration for notices, you'll want to navigate to the Admin tab and then click on 'Notices' on the left-hand list. You can also continue this guide and click the'Notice Template' or 'Notice Configuration' links below.

The Bryt Basic Loan Tracker comes prepopulated with several notice types.  Among these notices include:

  • Payment Request
  • Payment Received
  • Late Notices
  • Balloon Notice
  • Periodic Loan Statement
  • Welcome letters
  • And more...

Notice Configuration

Notices are typically emailed to the borrower.  Each notice type can be turned on or off, and the number of days relative to the trigger the emails can be set by editing the notice type.  Emails can also be set to “auto” email or “manual” email.

Notice Template

Each notice has an associated template that allows you to customize the text of the notice. Each template also has a set of "variables" that correspond to various pieces of information about the loan relevant to the type of notice. There are built-in examples for each of the notice types to be used as a starting point.

Notice Dashboard Widget

The Notice widget on the dashboard provides user an easy way to view and manage the notices.  The widget shows emails that have been sent, emails that have been queued to be sent by the user, and emails that failed.  The dashboard also provides a link to a report of all emails that were generated by the system.

All Notices are Recorded with the Loan Record and Borrower Record.  A record of each notice emailed is recorded in the email section of the associated loan and the associated borrower.  This allows you to verify that the borrower is receiving communication about their loan.
